Councilman Shoemaker is a lifelong resident that is proud to be a third-generation Councilmember. He graduated from Carl Brablec High School in 1981 and attained an Associate's Degree from Macomb Community College. Councilman Shoemaker is actively involved in the community, as he is a member of Sacred Heart Church (past Parish Council President), Roseville Caring Klowns, Roseville Goodfellows, Rose Clair Eagles, and fourth-degree Father Casey Knights of Columbus. Currently, he is a sales agent at a Roseville real estate company and is a former AFSCME Local 520 City employee.
