One Tenant

  • 1 carbon pack of Summons Packet (DC 104, is a 5-part set)
  • 1 carbon pack of Complaint Packet (Non-Payment: DC 102a or Recover Possession of Property: DC 102c)
  • "Original" Notice to Quit (DC 100a, 100b, or 100c with completed Proof of Service) along with 3 copies
  • 3 Copies of the Lease, Rental Agreement, Land Contract, or Sheriff's Deed
  • 1 Stamped Envelope addressed to Plaintiff with proper postage
  • 1 Stamped Envelope addressed to Tenant with proper postage
  • Cash or Check made payable to: 39th District Court for the Filing Fee

Two Tenants

  • Summons Packet + 2 additional copies of the 2nd page (see form Number s above)
  • Complaint Packet + 2 additional copies of the front page (see form Number s above)
  • "Original" Notice to Quit with completed Proof of Service + 5 Copies (see form Number s above)
  • 5 copies of Lease or Rental Agreement, Land Contract, or Sheriff's Deed
  • 1 Stamped Envelope addressed to Plaintiff with proper postage
  • 2 Stamped Envelopes with proper postage: One addressed to Tenant Number 1, the other addressed to Tenant Number 2

Landlord/Tenant Filing Fees, Effective March 1st, 2016

  • Possession Only and Land Contract: $55
  • Possession and Money Damages (Supplemental Complaint)
    • $1 to $600: $90
    • $600.01 to $1,750: $110
    • $1,750.01 to $10,000: $130
    • $10,001 to $25,000: $215

Service Fees

  • $28 per Defendant - Fraser
